Our Story

Built for healthcare.
Engineered for trust.

STAK Tecnologia da Informação was founded on one core conviction: clinical and hospital environments deserve software that is secure by design, accurate by default, and dependable at every step — from the moment a patient walks in to the moment a digitally signed report is delivered.

Today we serve more than 2,600 clients across Brazil, from independent diagnostic centers to large hospital networks, and our technology carries registered intellectual property protection under INPI registration nº BR512025000424-9.

A specialist company built from the inside out

STAK did not start as a generic software house that later pivoted to healthcare. We were conceived specifically for clinical environments — for the nuanced world of diagnostic reports, examination queues, equipment integrations, and the regulatory obligations that come with managing patient data in Brazil.

Our flagship platform, StakCare®, grew from real conversations with radiologists, cardiologists, neurologists, and hospital administrators who were frustrated by systems that forced them to adapt their workflows to the software rather than the other way around. We listened, iterated, and built something genuinely different.

Every release of StakCare® and its sub-products is compiled, verified, and signed with a SHA-256 digital signature, using a Code Signing EV RSA 4096 certificate — ensuring that every installation our clients run is authentic, unmodified, and auditable. This level of integrity is not optional for us; it is foundational.

Regulatory Compliance

Reports fully aligned with CFM Resolution nº 2,314/2022 and ICP-Brasil standards.

LGPD-Ready

Data handling architecture designed from the ground up for Brazil's data protection law.

Proven at Scale

Thousands of daily active users processing exams and reports without interruption.

Deep Integration Expertise

DICOM, HL7, REST APIs, and a dozen clinical system connectors maintained in-house.

Mission, Vision & Values

Three principles that shape every product decision, every integration we build, and every client relationship we maintain.

Mission

To protect every clinical decision with technology that never fails silently

Healthcare professionals make life-changing decisions based on the reports and data our platform handles. Our mission is to ensure that the software layer between a patient and their diagnosis is transparent, verifiable, and impossible to tamper with — and that it reduces friction rather than adding it.

Vision

The reference standard for clinical report management across Latin America

We are building toward a future where any diagnostic center or hospital — regardless of size or specialty — can access enterprise-grade integration capabilities, digital signature compliance, and real-time exam management through a single, coherent platform. STAK will be the name they trust to get there.

Values

Integrity, specificity, and a relentless focus on the clinical user

We do not build for demos. We build for the radiologist at 11 pm processing a queue of urgent exams, for the administrator reconciling reports with payer systems, and for the IT manager who needs to know every byte that enters and leaves the system. Those users define our product roadmap.

Scale that speaks for itself

Behind these numbers are real clinical facilities, real professionals, and real patients served.

A security posture built for regulated environments

When a digitally signed clinical report is delivered, the physician, the patient, and the institution need absolute certainty that what they are reading is exactly what was produced — unaltered and attributable. STAK's infrastructure is built around that guarantee.

Our report signing pipeline uses ICP-Brasil standard digital certificates, the same cryptographic infrastructure trusted by Brazilian courts, federal agencies, and financial institutions. Every StakCare® binary is also signed with a Code Signing EV RSA 4096 certificate, so operating systems and endpoint protection tools validate its authenticity before it ever runs.

  • SHA-256 Build Verification

Every compiled release is cryptographically hashed and verified at build time, ensuring no file can be silently modified between compilation and deployment.

  • ICP-Brasil Digital Signatures on Reports

Reports issued through StakCare® carry legal-grade digital signatures compliant with CFM Resolution nº 2,314/2022, making every document court-admissible and tamper-evident.

  • Real-Time Exam Queue Integrity

Priority queues, ticket assignment, and production statistics are processed in real time with full audit trails — so nothing slips through without a record.

  • Universal Format Conversion to DICOM

Our pipeline converts over 30 file extensions — from .PDF and .XML to proprietary formats like .EEG, .TRF, .FWC — into DICOM-standard .DCM files for PACS archiving.

A structured approach to every engagement

From first contact to live integration, we follow a disciplined process that respects the complexity of clinical environments and the real-world constraints of healthcare IT teams.

Scoping & Environment Audit

Before any integration begins, our team maps your existing infrastructure — which HIS, PACS, or modality systems are in place, what data flows already exist, and where the gaps are. Integration fees and timelines are defined transparently at this stage, because every environment is different and we do not offer one-size pricing.

Protocol & Connector Selection

We match your environment to the appropriate integration pathway — DICOM worklist, HL7 messaging, REST API via DataSNAP, or a directory-based generic connector. For established partners like Philips Tasy, Pixeon, Salux, Age SOC, or Proradis, we deploy tested, maintained connectors. For bespoke requirements, we build custom integrations to specification.

Development & Validation

Every integration is developed against a test environment replicating your production setup as closely as possible. We validate both the inbound worklist (exam ordering) and the outbound return path (signed report delivery) before any go-live handshake, running through real exam types relevant to your modalities.

Go-Live & Ongoing Support

We do not deploy and disappear. Our team monitors the initial live period, responds to edge-case behaviors that only surface in production, and maintains the integration as third-party systems update. The cost of that continuity is factored transparently into the project scope from the outset.

The principles behind our people

Our developers, integration engineers, and support specialists share a common perspective: the software we build is running inside institutions where errors have human consequences. That is not a burden — it is the standard we hold ourselves to every single day.

Specificity over generalism

We do not try to be an all-purpose EHR or practice management suite. We specialize in the diagnostic report lifecycle and the integrations that support it. That focus means our team goes deeply technical on DICOM, HL7, and clinical data formats rather than spreading effort thin across dozens of unrelated domains.

Honesty about scope and cost

Clinical IT projects frequently fail because vendors understate complexity to win contracts. We communicate openly about what an integration will require — including additional costs that may arise from a client's specific environment — before any work begins. There are no surprises on our invoices.

Compliance as architecture, not afterthought

LGPD, CFM Resolution nº 2,314/2022, ICP-Brasil certification requirements — these are not checklist items we bolt on at the end of a project. They are design constraints we apply from the first line of code. When regulations evolve, our platform evolves with them, and clients do not have to scramble for workarounds.

Built for Brazil's regulatory reality

StakCare® reports are issued with ICP-Brasil digital signatures, satisfying the requirements of CFM Resolution nº 2,314/2022 for electronic medical reports. Our data architecture is designed to be LGPD-compliant by default, with access controls, audit logs, and data minimization principles applied at the platform level — not as add-ons. Clients do not need a separate compliance layer on top of our system; the compliance is already there.
